Unique Programs

TCU offers a number of special programs and certificate offerings in areas like ranch management, business, nursing and education. The tuition and costs vary by program, but one requirement unites them all—they all start with a FAFSA and a CSS profile.

TCU Ranch Management Program prepares professionals to manage a broad range of global resources on an ecologically and economically sound basis while conserving and improving resources. The university provides an extensive and individually designed financial aid program to help make this program affordable.

Aid & Scholarship Information

Students who have already completed an undergraduate degree (at TCU or elsewhere) and are completing Teacher Certification requirements at TCU should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Teacher Certification students may be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant and Federal Direct Subsidized and/or Direct Unsubsidized Loans. Eligible students must take at least 6 credit hours in a given term to qualify for loans and will receive a maximum of $5,500 (for dependent students) or $12,500 (for independent students) per academic year in Federal Direct loans.

In addition, parents of dependent students may be eligible to apply for the Parent PLUS Loan to assist with Teacher Certification costs.

More Certification Information

First Degree Accelerated Nursing Candidates seeking aid will file the FAFSA and CSS Profile.

Accelerated Nursing Candidates pursuing a subsequent bachelor's degree and seeking aid will file the FAFSA.

Program Costs

Costs are subject to change. New tuition rates are generally announced in November for the next academic year.
