Franklin Lindsay Student Loan

http://www.franklinlindsay.org/

Private education loans require school certification, which means that all aid cannot exceed the Cost of Attendance (COA).  The Franklin Lindsay Student Loan does not require school certification.

The Franklin Lindsay Student Aid Fund was created to help students in Texas obtain a higher education by providing low-interest loans to students who are attending an accredited Texas-based college or university, have a GPA of 2.0 or better and have at least 24 hours of college credit. Highlights of this loan include but are not limited to:

  • Loans up to $12,000 a year at a 3% fixed interest rate.
  • No interested accrues and no payments are due while you are in school
  • Interest begins on the first day of the fourth month after leaving school*
  • This loan does not impact other financial aid offered through the college
  • Funds are limited and are based on first-come-first-served, so get your application in early (you can apply in March for the upcoming academic year).
